1964 M20D-Converted

Lost my medical, the cure being worse than the disease. My faithful friend since 1984, we have over 3,000 hours together and now we must part just when we were getting to know how to really get along. 5,619 hours TTAF; 500 hours SFRM Lycoming 0-360 A1D Wide Deck (original was narrow deck); 140 hours on new Hartzell. Always hangared since I have had it. Based in the high desert, Reno Stead Airport. 5,000 foot field altitude, no corrosion and easy on engines too, running below rated power a lot. Near perfect Imron, later Mooney paint style, and Airtex cloth interior. No recurring AD’s remain, many replacements & repair of wear items such as air box & adding newer type things like new protected hoses. Engine mount and steering link by Lake Aero. Norm Smith Aero Seal tanks by Top Gun. Maintained by same shop for about 30 yers & two owners. “Nervino Aero,” established 1946. Will include fresh annual by them. Steam gauges, no glass, dual Terras (have repair/replacement source) with two glideslopes, ADF, DME, Mode C, Johnson Bar gear, M20 Oil separator, new snap on window cover (snaps original), portable oxygen, 2 older headsets- Audiocom, Precedus with slight display problem if you want it. 140 kts at 12,500 on 7.2 gph.
